Renal Physicians diagnose and treat kidney disorders, high blood pressure and fluid and mineral balance in the human body.  They work in close collaboration with their surgical colleagues for kidney transplantation and creation of dialysis access.  Renal Medicine is a subspecialty of Internal Medicine.
